About

My work addresses the idea of the mise-en-scene and the creation or restaging of personal spaces within the everyday. I am interested in the significance that we attribute to certain places and objects and their manifestation in the domestic space through re-occurring forms, patterns and textures. Working primarily with photography, my work aims to explore a language of the illusory often attributed to the photographic image and more broadly considers the role of the image as a search for the symbolic.

Having completed a Masters in Photography at London College of Communication, my work has been exhibited in group shows in the UK and internationally and I was recently nominated for the Magnum Graduate Award.
